Overall, the Rode NT-USB is a versatile microphone that can be used at your home, then easily taken to a friend’s house for recording.

The body of the mic features a zero-latency stereo headphone monitoring 3.5mm jack that allows you to monitor the microphone input in real-time. The integrated dials can then be used to adjust the monitoring level and mix between your computer and microphone input.

Simple to use connectivity

Plug in and play. The Rode NT-USB connects to your computer through USB, which saves you from buying standard chunky XLR cables. The microphone is fully compatible with recording software on both Windows and Mac computers.

It is also compatible with Apple iPad using RODE Rec, Garageband, or other recording apps that accept an external microphone.
