At the heart of the Yamaha SEQTRAK lies a powerful sequencer with dynamic and intuitive controls. Seven-track drum section
The SEQTRAK features a dedicated drum section with seven tracks, including kick, snare, clap, two hi-hats, and two percussion sounds. Each track can be loaded with high-quality sounds from the extensive library, which currently offers over 2,000 sounds spanning all instrument categories. Additionally, you have the option to import your own samples via the SEQTRAK app. Arrange these sounds effortlessly using the step sequencer's 128 steps, with 16 steps displayed on the face of the device.

Synth and sampler section - create melodies with ease
Equipped with three synthesizers and a sampler, the SEQTRAK allows you to create captivating harmonies and melodies. The first two synths utilize Yamaha's renowned AWM2 engine, offering a versatile and polyphonous sound experience with 128 notes. The third synth, aptly named DX, revives the vibrant sounds of the classic Yamaha synth with its four-operator FM engine. Switch between mono, poly, and chord modes to tailor the synth to your track's specific requirements.

With seven keys available, you can effortlessly play melodies or chords, along with selectable scales and keys. In keyboard mode, the step sequencer keys transform into a chromatic keyboard. You even have an arpeggiator at your disposal. The sampler allows for the mapping of sample sounds to each key, offering an extensive selection from the library. Alternatively, you can record and sample individual sounds from external sources, via USB, re-sampling, or using the built-in microphone. This level of versatility in such a compact form factor makes the SEQTRAK truly exceptional.
