This Mahogany Wood Djembe is traditionally rope tuned and comes in a Python brown design. The 12 inch Djembe has a hand selected goat head and each shell is hand carved.

The beautiful looking hand carved shells feature a gouged surface reminiscent of sun-dappled water. This texture not only looks good but also makes djembe easy to hold between the knees. It comes in four different sizes to players of all ages. Hand selected goat heads are secure by the traditional Mali-weave system and runners of pre-stretched nylon PP rope.
